FRISCO, TEXAS – Matt Ryan achieved a final round comeback to win THE PRO FTB inaugural tournament at PGA Frisco. The former All-Pro quarterback known as “Matty Ice” opened with an eagle on the opening hole to reduce the gap against second round leader Mike Leach, an NFL veteran of 16 seasons.

“We don’t get to compete like we used to, but when you get an event like this, everyone was grinding today,” Ryan said. “And it’s great to have some of what made us special in our other careers (on display today). We very much appreciate (THE PRO) having us; thank you for putting this on. I look forward to watching what it becomes and how it grows, and I look forward to hopefully being back at another event soon.”
