2026 FM Championship Field Finalized
World’s Top 10 LPGA Professionals headline strong field at TPC Boston

The field is set for the 2026 FM Championship, Aug. 27–30 at TPC Boston. Featuring all 10 of the top-ranked players in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings, the event will bring one of the LPGA Tour season’s strongest fields to New England to compete for a $4.4 million purse—one of the largest outside the majors and the Tour Championship.

I had the opportunity to attend Media Day and met with Lottie Woad. One question I asked her before the official media conference. Her caddie gives her a Gummy Bear after every birdie. So, I asked her if she gets seven birdies in a row… will she have a sugar high! She smiled.
After winning a tournament Lottie had a bet with her caddie DT, David Taylor, that he had to get a tattoo of her choice. Of course… it was a “Gummy Bear Tattoo.”
Woad is an FM Ambassador and loves how FM has added more technology to the LPGA broadcasts—drones, more mics, putt tracing. She said her family enjoys the enhanced broadcasts.
Lottie likes TPC Boston because of treelined fairways and said the climate in New England is like England. She mentioned liking the interesting second hole and the gettable 18th hole.
Lottie did mention how she’s looking forward to playing the Solheim Cup and winning it. One of her idols growing up was Charlie Hull. Lottie mentioned she doesn’t show much emotion in LPGA tournaments but does get emotional in team events like Solheim Cup which she predicted Europe would win because the course is more like links courses Europeans are used too.
After press conference we went out to the par 3 16th hole. The challenge was between Lottie Woad and Tuukka Rask, former Boston Bruins goalie. The crowd was asked who’s going to win? Everyone, even Tukka said Lottie. Lottie played first. She picked up her 8 iron and got one point for getting on the green. After you used a club, it was eliminated. Putters were not used, so each player got to pick a wild card. Tuukka had a hard time hitting the green. After seven shots each… “Lottie was the big winner!” Maybe just a preview of what was to come on Sunday, the 30th.
