3rd Annual – Bluegrass Hickory Open October 18-20, 2026

Amazing Event in Historic Owl Creek Country Club

Join fellow hickory players from across the country for third annual event which is played annually on the historic Owl Creek Country Club. This course designed by Mr. George Davies, born in Liverpool, England, is known for being the designer of 40 courses in his lifetime in the United States.

Owl Creek Country Club is a unique private club located in Anchorage, KY, founded in 1927. The club has made every effort to keep every hole in its original 1927 design by Mr. Davies. Being a very private club, the grounds and course are in perfect condition, especially for a Hickory Tournament as past players will acknowledge.

The practice round will be on Sunday October 18.
The Bluegrass Hickory Open being played on
Monday, October 19 and Tuesday, October 20.

There will be a dinner on Monday night and an awards luncheon
on Tuesday following the finish of play.

Sunday evening will have a meet and greet at our host hotel the
Marriott East which is only 15 minutes from Owl Creek.

This year we will be offering “two packages” for the tournament:

Package #1 will offer a Kentucky Experience on Saturday and the
Bluegrass Hickory Open on Sunday, through Tuesday with meals.

Package #2 will offer the Bluegrass Hickory Open – Sunday through Tuesday with meals.

All participants will receive a tee gift bag which includes a shirt and other local items.

We are still finalizing the“Kentucky Experience Package” for Saturday and
pricing for both packages will be announced April 1st.

Please reserve your place early as we are limiting the tournament again to 36 players.
